Enjoying Sea Isle, New Jersey, June 2006

Posted on June 25, 2006 by katrina

I’ve been lazy about blogging and it’s much like being lazy about deodorant–after a while you just start to feel icky. Between packing, cleaning, and the paperwork of moving, I haven’t had the mental acuity to punch out a couple of witty bon mots for my 2.5 readers. But also between the packing, cleaning, and paperwork of moving, we managed to take a break Father’s Day weekend to join my brother and his family for some quality time at Sea Isle, New Jersey, the southern part of the Jersey Shore. Anyone interested in New Jersey culture should spend a summer weekend on the Shore. Prepare yourself to be blinded by the gold chains and the bright overly manicured hot pink toenails. Not to mention the beautiful briny sea air punctuated by the local vernacular, much of which begins with the letter “F.” That said, we still had a lovely time and enjoyed the beach immensely. A couple photos of Team Martinez-Woznicki relaxing alongside the frisky Atlantic. Enjoy.
